Handmade dab tool made from solid copper and wildcrafted wood. The wood is hand shaped and polished using sanding tools, while the copper is shaped using hammers and an anvil. The copper tool is carefully fit to the wooden base—no glue! The base acts as an attached stand to keep your counter and tool clean.


Redwood Cone: Wood handle/base is made from a wildcrafted redwood tree branch that fell during a windstorm, then cured for one year prior to shaping. Sealed with natural mineral oil (the same kind used for cutting boards, it an be resealed later using mineral oil if it wears from use). Dimensions: ~1.25” at the base x 6” long.

Redwood Spiral: Wood handle/base is made from a wildcrafted redwood tree branch that fell during a windstorm, then cured for one year prior to shaping. English Ivy Squared Handle: Wood handle is made from a wildcrafted English Ivy that was harvested from an old building that was completely overgrown with the stuff, then cured for three years prior to shaping. The English Ivy piece was nearly 5” wide before shaping—it takes a big piece to get workable wood from the core! Sealed with natural mineral oil (the same kind used for cutting boards, it an be resealed later using mineral oil if it wears from use). The wooden handle weighs more than the copper, and can be placed horizontally on a flat surface without the copper tip touching the surface! Dimensions: ~0.625” at the base x ~6.75” long.
